All courses are offered through the American Heart Association's (AHA) nationally recognized training program. Cards are now electronic and are received typically within 2 business days, but same day cards can be arranged.
Two (2) student minimum required for BLS course.
Four (4) student minimum required for Heartsaver courses, but special arrangements can be made, at the discretion of management.
All certifications are valid for 2 years with the American Heart Association (AHA).

All of our equipment is well maintained and thoroughly decontaminated. We use the Prestan CPR manikins with the internal cpr monitors, as well as Laerdal Baby Anne manikins for a realistic and accurate training experience.
CANCELLATIONS:
We reserve the right to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances, however we will reschedule you at "NO COST"..
RESCHEDULING:
If you need to reschedule a training class, we can certainly accommodate you. You must contact us via email or phone at least "24 HOURS" in advance to be able to reschedule your training class for "FREE". Any request to reschedule less than 24 hours in advance will result in a $20 reschedule fee that must be paid prior to the new scheduled class time.
REFUNDS:
We "DO NOT" issue refunds if you cancel or do not attend the course.
We can replace your card at a cost of $25. We will only provide replacement cards for those that obtained their certification through ELLENWOOD CPR.
Yes, we can assist any group size for a business or organization with implementing site specific training, record keeping, and auditing of existing training certifications to help keep your employees safe, prepared and in training compliance.
There is no age limit to take a CPR certification course. However, American Heart Association (AHA) does recommend a minimum weight of 90 pounds because doing chest compression does require sufficient force on the chest to be effective.
We have a grace period of 15 minutes. If you are later than 15 minutes, the Instructor reserves the right to refuse admittance of any students.
For the most part, the CPR and First Aid are the same. The major difference is if the employer accept both types of certification. In general they are both accepted. However, if you work in the medical field, the general acceptable certification body is American Heart Association (AHA) because the additional certification is done at a higher level that includes ACLS, PALS and PEARS.
The only difference is the renewal course requires less time than the initial classroom course.
